FAA GLOBE established 1995

 
 

FAA GLOBE announces the establishment of the Harold LeBlanc Civil Rights Scholarship.  The scholarship was named after the late Harry LeBlanc, a GLBT activist that devoted his life to the advancement of civil rights for all persons.

FAA GLOBE is seeking candidates for the scholarship, the award has not yet been determined but is estimated to be between $100 and $500.  Applicants must submit their full contact information along with an essay that is 500 words or less.  The essay should address the GLBT issues of the current day and how the applicant will work to achieve these goals.  Deadline for submission is 9pm EDT June 15.  Finalist must show proof of college enrollment before receiving the award.

Essay that is 500 words or less that addresses the GLBT issues of the current day and how the applicant will work to achieve these goals.

Omission of any of the required information may disqualify the application.
